Julia Amada Kruger is the Vice-President of the American College of Musicians in Austin, Texas. Julia is professor-in residence for the European summer performance festival, “Resonant Thoughts” in Cepina, Italy. Ms. Kruger adjudicates nationally/internationally (Russia, Ukraine, Sicily) and performs yearly concert tours throughout the world with her music partner, Prof. Victor Bunin of Moscow, Russia.
Victor Bunin was born in Voronezh, Russia. In 1961, he was awarded the title of the "Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation". Professor Bunin is the author of two books dedicated to the great Russian pianist, composer and pedagogue Sa-muil Feinberg (S.E.Feinberg. His life and work; Pedagogics of Sa-muil Feinberg) both published by "Musica" publishing house in 1999 and 2000).
Natalia Burmeister-Tchaikovsky’s father, Vladimir Burmeister, grandnephew of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, was a choreographer, famous for the original production of “Swan Lake” in Moscow and Paris. Natalia’s versatile musical career includes solo performances, playing in chamber ensembles and instrumentalists sonata evenings. Critics wrote: “Natalia Tchaikovsky’s piano sounds like an orchestra.” She is a recognized musician who performs worldwide.
There will be no concert March 12. We are pleased to announce the return of Peggy Lyon, piano and Gregory Dufford, clarinet, on March19. The Seicento Baroque Ensemble close out the month of March on the 26th.
Music Festival attendees will receive a 20% discount for brunch or dinner on the day of the concert, courtesy of the Stanley Hotel Cascade Restaurant. Additional parking is available next to the Concert Hall and behind the Stanley Hotel.
Every concert series needs an excellent venue and the beautiful Stanley Hotel is the perfect mountain setting for an hour of wonderfully relaxing Sunday afternoon entertainment.
