Now entering its 40th year the nonprofit Estes Park Music Festival provides two dozen concerts between October and April and three major orchestral concerts during the summer. These concerts benefit the community in many different ways. They add to the quality of life of full-time residents by making cultural events available to those who might find it difficult to travel to the Denver metro area due to mobility issues or cost concerns. They provide exposure to classical music for children and students, who are admitted free of charge. They also provide an economic benefit to our town from the many tourists who seek opportunities to attend cultural events while visiting this beautiful area. The EPMF Board of Directors is committed to the fair compensation of the very talented soloists, ensembles and choral groups who perform at these concerts, most of whom reside in Colorado, thereby contributing to the economic wellbeing of Colorado’s music industry. This grant will significantly aid in the continued effort to provide Estes Park residents musical programs that entertain, educate and delight.
2016: Additional support from the Chevron Corporation through its Humankind Awards Program, Safeway Foundation, and the generosity of our individual contributors and sponsors.
